Billing belongs to the organization, not to a workspace: one subscription covers every workspace inside it. Prices, allowances and what each plan includes live in one place, the plans page, and this page deliberately repeats none of those figures.
Payments are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Your card is entered on Polar’s checkout page and never touches UTMKit.
The trial
Signing up asks for a card before the product opens. You choose a plan, complete Polar’s checkout, and the trial starts on that plan with nothing charged today. The first charge happens when the trial ends unless you cancel before then; Polar emails a reminder first, and the billing page always shows the date. Cancelling during the trial keeps everything working until its last day, and you pay nothing.
A trial is offered once per organization. An organization that has already had one and subscribes again is charged from the first day; the plan picker says so before you choose.
Plans
Two plans are self-serve. Each one’s allowances — workspaces, tracked events, AI turns, custom domains, analytics retention — and its included features are on the plans page. Features such as single sign-on, white-label client reports and bulk audits are included in some plans and not others; each feature’s page says so.
When an allowance runs out
Three different things can stop an action, and the console tells you which:
- Your allowance is used up. A notice appears in the console as you approach an allowance and again when you reach it, and the owners are emailed. When the AI turns are gone the assistant stops starting new turns; when the tracked events are gone clicks keep being counted but the reports pause until you upgrade. Allowances reset when the billing period rolls over, and a larger plan includes more. The This period card on the billing page shows what has been used.
- Your plan does not include this. Waiting changes nothing; the feature is in a different plan.
- Your subscription has ended. See below.
Changing plan, card, invoices and cancelling
The organization owner — an owner of any of its workspaces — opens Billing and presses Manage subscription, which signs them into Polar’s customer portal without a second login. Card changes, switching between plans, invoices and receipts, and cancellation all happen there, and UTMKit reflects a change as soon as Polar confirms it.
Every member can see the plan, its status and the next date that matters; only the owner is offered the portal, because changing the subscription is the organization owner’s call.
If a renewal charge fails, the status reads Payment problem. Nothing is cut off: Polar retries the card and emails you a link to update it, also reachable through Manage subscription.
When a subscription ends
A cancelled subscription keeps working until the end of the period already paid for. After that the organization becomes read-only: reports stay readable, existing links keep resolving for a grace period, and nothing new can be created — no links, campaigns, workspaces, tokens or invitations — and the assistant does not start turns.
The grace period on existing links is finite. Past it, the short links stop resolving until the subscription is reactivated, at which point they start again.
The way back
The owner of a read-only organization sees Choose a plan on the billing page. It leads to the plan picker and a fresh Polar checkout; the portal alone cannot reactivate an ended subscription. Because the trial has already been used, the new plan starts and is charged immediately. Once Polar confirms, everything turns back on, and links that had stopped resolve again.
If you meant to add a client rather than buy a second subscription, create a workspace inside the organization you already pay for: one subscription covers all of its workspaces. See Workspaces.
